Claro Walnut click on photo for multiple close-ups showing the figure from many angles This is the largest board of any Walnut species we have ever had. It conjures up images of the fantastic one piece tables that George Nakashima used to make. Claro Walnut has a unique coloration and a lovely smooth texture. This is one board out of an entire log, and it, like all the others, is highly figured with not only broken curl but also two beautiful feather crotches (protected by a sealer). A one in a million board. Green to partially air-dried. #W6853

Not only are they nicely figured but they are almost defect-free and are very flat. One waney edge and one square edge. Note the beautiful swirly grain as well. As good as it gets. Kiln-dried. ______________________________________________
