Gilmer Wood Co. is dedicated to providing only the highest quality musical instrument woods available. All of our instrument woods are selected and milled to insure the very best in grain, color, texture and density. It is not possible to list woods for every type of instrument made, but most often we are able to supply suitable wood for even the most obscure instruments. If you do not see what you are looking for in our catalog, please feel free to call. Since we mill to order and due to the fact that many species or figured woods are quite rare, some orders may require more time to process than others. A guitar many years in the making is this beauty by Marc Culbertson, who runs the instrument wood division at Gilmer Wood Company. With over 25 years of building experience, Marc crafted this guitar from a fantastic carved top of crotch Mahogany from Guatemala laid atop a block of curly Hawaian Koa. Note the fingerboard of "spider web" Brazilian Rosewood. -sold
