Ribbon-stripe Sapele
(Entandrophragma cylindricum)

This West African hardwood is medium to dark reddish-brown with a fairly fine texture and a cedar-like scent. Select, quartersawn boards like these have a bright, lustrous, ribbon-stripe figure. Kiln-dried.
