British Royal Arms as seen on 17th century ships in the British Navy. This will be used on a 1/4" scale model of The Resolution of 1667. The exquisite carving was done in genuine Boxwood (Buxus sempervirens) by Chuck Aldridge of Camas, Washington (lifisgreat@msn.com). The intricacy of the carving demanded almost 100 hours.

Amboyna Burl
(Pterocarpus indicus)

At Gilmer Wood Company, timber gets in the blood of the employees. So when lunchtime rolls around there is nothing better than a slice of favorite burl.

!!!

Don't have a cow, an eruption of natural images. We wouldn't be a lion to you.
