Bois
de Rose is a true rosewood from Madagascar and is little known on the
world timber market. It is a deep burgundy color, sometimes with darker
striping and darkens on exposure. It is hard and heavy and takes a high,
glassy- smooth polish. Note: The stock we sell today will probably not
be replaceable. These have some cracks and holes but still have lots
of good, sound wood.

these types of defects are not uncommon in English Brown Oak we
offer these boards at a significant discount. These boards won’t
yield wide or long cuttings but will yield many smaller clear
cuttings suitable for small boxes, cabinet & furniture work,
carvings, etc. Well air-dried. Minimum sale one board.
