This crotch was custom sawn for us in Ghana. Some of these have extraordinary figure with a high level of chatoyance. In almost everyone the crotch figure has opened up and will need to be filled with a clear or colored epoxy resin, acrylic resin, or amalgam to give them a smooth surface but will be well worth the effort. Rare.
The figure in these causes some "fuzzing" of the grain, but they should sand up beautifully.
