Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle Turning Squares

Nothofagus cunninghamii

Native to southern Australia and Tasmania. Yellowish-pink to reddish-pink in color, it is fine-grained, stable in service, and easy to work for both turnery and cabinetry. Takes a very nice, high finish.
